Introduction

This exhibit begins with a survey of the history of the emergency services of Police and Fire Departments as well as Health services in the United States. With a particular focus on the history of these emergency services in Willimantic during the years surrounding 1910. This information was sourced, written, and posted by Jacob Krupa in Fall of 2022 for HIS 388. Later expanded on to by Paula Hernandez in Spring of 2023.
