Connecticut Establishes a Probate Court at Windham Green

Description

The colony establishes a probate court at Windham Green for the towns of Lebanon, Coventry, Mansfield, Canterbury, Plainfield, Killingly, Pomfret, and Ashford, increasing the amount of business in the town. Captain John Fitch serves as the first judge of the Probate Court.
