Brooklyn Becomes Seat of Windham County

Description

After a committee from the Connecticut General Court reviews the towns of Windham county, they report to the Assembly that Windham county's courts should be transferred to Brooklyn. On May 27, 1819, the Assembly passes an act designating Brooklyn as the new seat of Windham County.
