Title
Electro-Motive Company Relocates to Willimantic
Description
The Willimantic Chamber of Commerce grants New York radio component firm Electro-Motive $5,000 to relocate to Willimantic in an attempt to diversify manufacturing and move away from textile production. Electro-Motive agrees, and moves its operations to the abandoned Rossie Velvet Company mill on South Street, and would later occupy buildings on Bridge Street.
