This exhibit was created by Paula Hernandez, Tom O'Brien and Dr. Jamel Ostwald for HIS 480 in Spring 2023. The inhabitants of Willimantic in 1910 are explored in this exhibit, with occasional comparisons to 2020. Data contributors include Jenna Rice, Jacob Krupa, Emma Dashnaw, Paula Hernandez, and Thomas O'Brien with the guidance of Dr. Jamel Ostwald, and the work of students in Dr. Ostwald's Fall 2022 HIS388 Introduction to Digital History course. Sources used in this exhibit are The Willimantic Chronicle, the 1910 census (courtesy of Drs. Emil Pocock and Ania Kirchmann), the 2020 census, the 1910 census enumerator's guide, and the Connecticut State Register and Manual.
