Mansfield Secedes from Windham

Title

Mansfield Secedes from Windham

Description

Due to the large size of Windham, rough terrain, and frequent bridge washouts, individual settlements are very isolated from each other. Even travelling to church on Sunday is an arduous journey. After years of complaints and negotiations, the northwestern portion of Windham secedes and becomes the town of Mansfield.
