Description
Thomas Hartshorn, a millwright from Charlestown, MA, and his assistant Thomas Davies construct a mill in Willimantic. In 1709, the owners of the mill privilege grant Hartshorn twenty four acres east of their land. In 1710, Hartshorn and Davies build the first house in Willimantic on their tract.
